De Klep is known as a café with a great many different beers, but you can also come to us for a very good lunch. Part of it is naturally tuned to the beer drinker, but there is plenty of choice for everyone else too.
We open at 12:00 for an extensive lunch. The kitchen serves the food menu until 20:00, so a very late lunch is possible as well. From a Broodje Gezond to a hearty soup, from vegetarian to fish, or dishes that go beautifully with beer, such as our beef stewed in Paeterke Döbbel or fish and chips in Witte van Grubbe beer batter.
Our extensive bar snacks menu can be ordered from 12:00 until 23:30.
Until 20:00 in the evening you can enjoy one of the dishes from our small menu, so there is no need to leave your drinks behind to go and eat. Groups can order from the small menu too. For parties larger than 10 people we are happy to offer a set menu, so that we can serve you in good time.
Alongside our fine beer menu you can also satisfy your appetite. From a simple cube of cheese to a deluxe bitterbal of our own making, right through to a truly luxurious sharing board. Our extensive snacks menu offers something for everyone. Exactly as it should be in a beer café with a taste for the good life. Cosy by the wood stove in winter, or out on our pleasant terrace in summer.
Because we hold the spontaneous walk-in of a café dear, we think it matters that you can always simply take a seat with us. Booking is not necessary. Should you prefer to, it is possible from Wednesday to Sunday between 12:00 and 14:00, for a good Klep lunch for instance. Reservations are also possible from 10 people. We look at the wishes and possibilities for each booking.
